7 Bollywood Fashion Trends
Fashion magazines and runways could scream couture any time they like. In a country like Bollywood, the choices of actors are more important than their films.
These stars, their stylists and all that is genetically gifted have a disproportionate amount of power in these cases.
Let’s take an overview of the most popular fashion trends over the past decade.
1. Sadhna Haircut
Critics cannot stop raving over her style sense. Fashion-wannabes today can’t help but compare themselves to her. We couldn’t resist featuring her here. Sadhna is still the most courageous actress, forty years later. It just goes to show how people value courage, creativity, and individuality. You don’t have to be a sexy person!
2. Bell-bottom Pants
While the jury hopes (and expects) these pants to make a comeback in the Bollywood Fashion scene, it also hopes that stylists stop using these pants in every college-flashback scene for the previous six decades.
The most recent parallel to these pants, as they were known in certain circles (your sixth standard circle), is the very comfortable flare pants. They are available for sale at certain clothing shops.
3. Chiffon Sarees
There is nothing that can be said about them today that wasn’t said in the past. They’ll be here for the long term. The Alps and Chiffon Sarees: Who can say they had romantic fantasies without the two?
They look elegant and classy, which is no surprise. This is the only type of sari that can be blown off by the wind. You can still look like a bahu. It is not clear if this effect is due to chiffon material or Yashraj cinematography.
4. Bobby Blouses
Dimple Kapadia gave Indian girls the first reason to show off their midriffs, and millions of teenage boys will be grateful for her efforts. We feel she deserves credit for the dramatic reduction in waistlines in this diabetic country.
The best thing about bobby blouses is that many patterns look great with them. A bobby blouse can be your excuse to wear the cat/chappal/abstract pattern you secretly love.
So long as you don’t let your heart race.
5. Ghajini Haircut
Scars are unquestionably beautiful. Scars on your skull are even more attractive. It’s impossible to be without a six-pack. Despite the fact that most people have forgotten this last part of the equation, we aren’t complaining. Cropped hair means frequent visits to the barber, which could only have been good for the economy.
Although you might not be inspired by the exact Amir Khan style here, we think that old-fashioned, cropped hair is always a good idea. (Unless you are in the Army, you will probably cause injury to someone.
6. Goatee beard
All males aged 15-50 wore it, regardless of whether they had facial hair. They wanted to be urbane and young, just like Akaash Kapoor.
It’s easier to style your facial hair when you are older than 16 and have some. You have the world at your disposal, so go ahead. (But please, don’t make sea-wave patterns on your face.
7. Transparent T-shirts
This shirt is a miracle shirt that flattens your stomach and shapes your abs. There is no other reason why there are so many netted shirts all over the country.
This is the style we are not rooting for.
We hope so, as well.
